amandari villas

villas for rent and purchase

Amandari’s three-bedroom villa is less than a minute’s drive from the resort and is currently available for purchase. The 1,500sq m Balinese villa compound includes five pavilions: three detached, terrace-style bedrooms with double balconies; a separate living room walled entirely in windows and sliding-glass doors; and a fully fitted kitchen complete with staff quarters.

The villa is crafted largely of coconut-wood and teak. Its bamboo-frame roofs are layered in alang alang thatching. Interior design and furnishings are in classic Amandari style. An outdoor dining bale is set among reflection ponds. A garden and a landscaped deck embrace the expansive, two-tiered swimming pool, finished in pale-green tiles to match the surrounding paddy fields.

The master bedroom features a king-size, canopied bed, corner desks, rattan furniture and sliding kamisan-print doors that give way to screen and glass doors and unimpeded views. The bathroom comes with an outdoor bathtub surrounded by high, limestone walls. The two guest bedrooms are similar to the master bedroom in design and furnishings. One bedroom commands the highest point in the villa compound. From its terrace, sunsets are particularly rewarding. The other, closest to the resort of Amandari, affords fine views to the rice fields.

Appointments in the spacious, glass-walled living room range from corner day beds to a three-metre couch with matching chairs and a large central table. Additional furnishings include a colour TV, a CD player and minibar. Enjoy breakfast in the living room and watch white herons drift over the rice paddy, looking for their own breakfast. After harvest time, the fields are full of ducks.

Enter the thatched-roof dining bale over stones set like a pathway across a reed reflection pool. The bale, with its marble flooring and coconut-wood posts, comes with a round table and rattan chairs for six. From there, the views run to the terraced paddy fields and the Balinese rice-field hut known as a pondok.

The kitchen is located just behind the dining room and meals are available round the clock. Each morning, guests discuss the day’s dining plans with villa staff. Indonesian and Western cuisine is available. An Amandari chef will prepare all meals.

There are also approximately nine lots available in total for the development of additional two to four-bedroom villas.

A vehicle is always on call, should villa guests wish to take advantage of any of Amandari’s facilities. Designed for families, small groups and couples traveling together, the villa comes with an Amandari housekeeper and butler.
