The Bali National Golf Resort Closed for Renovations
The Bali National Golf Resort is currently closed for renovations for the duration of 2012. During this time, Amanusa guests will enjoy complimentary transfers to and from New Kuta Golf course, a 30-minutes’ drive from the resort.
Galungan and Kuningan
Galungan is Bali's major feast, symbolising the victory of Good (Dharma) over Evil (Adharma). This happens every 210 days and the whole island is beautifully decorated. Celebrations go on for 10 days and during this time, all the ancestors come to earth for the festivities. The last day of the festival is Kuningan when the ancestors return to heaven and the Balinese express their gratitude to the gods. Every village celebrates Kuningan in grand style, with colourful festivals held at temples throughout parts of Bali. The next Galungan falls on 27 March, 2013 whilst next Kuningan falls on 6 April, 2013.
