Amanyara is located along the coast of Northwest Point, adjacent to Malcolm's Beach on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies. Comprised of just eight islands and 41 small cays, of which only eight are inhabited, the territory is some 925km south-east of Miami, and 160km north of the Dominican Republic, lying just outside the Caribbean Sea in the Atlantic Ocean.

The international airport is on Providenciales Island, a 25-minute drive from Amanyara. A number of airlines offer direct flights to and from Providenciales.

American Airlines flies three times a day to and from Miami (1¼ hours away) which tends to be the main access point to Providenciales.

Other direct flights to Providenciales are American Airlines' thrice weekly service to and from New York, and five times a week service to and from Atlanta; US Airways' daily service to and from Charlotte N.C.; Air Canada's weekly service to and from Toronto; and British Airways' weekly service to and from London via Nassau. Direct flights are also available from Boston, Philadelphia and Fort Lauderdale.

Local and regional airlines Sky King, Bahamas Air and Air Turks and Caicos, operate flights between Providenciales and the Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. During the high season which runs from November to April, most airlines offer additional flights to and from Providenciales. Amanyara provides complimentary roundtrip vehicle transfers between the airport and resort.
