whale watching
The Turks and Caicos Islands are ideally located on the migration path of the Atlantic humpback whales. During the winter they are frequently spotted passing just off-shore from Amanyara’s beach. At breakfast or over evening cocktails, guests may witness whales breaching, tail and pec slapping, fluking and blowing. Spotted and bottlenose dolphins can often be seen accompanying their giant relatives. Up close encounters with these incredible creatures have been witnessed from a boat and through snorkelling and scuba diving.
